I can feel myself drawing to this ambiguous (yet quickly approaching) ending to a chapter without a distinct ending.  I'm clinging onto this chapter that I do not yet want to end, yet the weight of the turning page is steadily becoming too much to bear holding onto for much longer.

I've only read a couple of the articles in this series, but they seem to discuss a tendency for our minds to be overwhelmed with the immense amount of stimulation from electronics, the internet, social networking, all those glorified gizmos of the 21st Century. I came across this random blurb in the McGill Daily, one of the major student newspapers here. It reminded me so vividly of my sentiments during my own student leadership years - while in UAB at Wright State and while in Queer McGill at McGill. It captures many of my frustrations with student engagement almost to a tee.

I begin an internship next week at Hydro Quebec Distribution.  I'm excited.  I'm a little nervous.  I have no idea how I am going to fit this in my schedule, atop my current internship at CEATI (though my hours there have been increasingly intermittent), my three courses, and my lab work.
