The event is finally over. Nothing blew up or anything, so even though it wasn't spectacular, we still got a lot of help, and it was pretty good.

In the wake of that, I feel like I can take on what this week is throwing at me, which is a lot, but at least I can be in (semi-) control of it!

I just got back from broomballing, which was the way we chose to end our two-day retreat. It was intense yet so fun, but I'm definitely going to be feeling it in the morning! Bruises on my knees for sure.

Today was better than the "crappy day, happy day" pattern of the past two weeks.

We had our coord appreciation dinner, by the end of which half of the people were basically in tears, which was touching. Of course, I wasn't exactly crying, but it was interesting, to say the least. Lots more of putting things into perspective, that's for sure.

I actually sat down and did the math today (no, not my math homework--I have yet to start that...). I've calculated that, all in all, I am a whopping 1,000+ pages behind in school already, and the good news? It's only the first week! And it's only going to get better.

I'm having too much with my WiiFit. I got it for Christmas, and I've been using it so much that my dad keeps telling me not to overdo it. But seriously! It's fun, and it actually does make you work for every point (even after using it for two weeks, I still have the soreness to prove it).
