friday nite caught up w/ liz @ the waffle while she was in town before seeing gina & alex's place for gina's silent auction.  acquired an awesome quilt from it and got to catch up a little bit w/ everyone.

the weather is AWESOME outside, and I'm totally not being sarcastic about that.  I love the foggy gray, especially b/c I get a good view of it here at work - for now anyways.  it was really thick on new year's eve after we left the kleins.  we parked the car back at the apt and took a walk around the neighborhood in it.  was really cool.

my mother came home to mamie, our half maine coon cat, lying still in front of the wii.  the jokes from my coworkers have followed that statement with "wow, the wii really did her in!", "did the wii fit give her a heartattack?", and  "now i'm definitely not getting a wii!  that's dangerous..."  it's very sad.  i'll miss her snuggles this christmas ( Read more... )
