my mother came home to mamie, our half maine coon cat, lying still in front of the wii.  the jokes from my coworkers have followed that statement with "wow, the wii really did her in!", "did the wii fit give her a heartattack?", and  "now i'm definitely not getting a wii!  that's dangerous..."  it's very sad.  i'll miss her snuggles this christmas ( Read more... )

ugly is afoot at the hollywood village pizzeria.  in the last week both of the regular girls bailed on their jobs for other pursuits, and a horrible tragedy occurred for betsy.  she lost both her grown twin sons to a car accident last monday.  we can't even begin to imagine the pain she is suffering right now, but as some sort of comfort and caring ( Read more... )
