I'm also thrilled that I have been able to catch up with many friends. We've all been so busy lately.

And after traveling to other cities, it will be nice to be home for one weekend.

On Sunday, I returned from Atlanta. Besides my otherwise good / productive weekend, I had hoped to see indrani_prime, but she was sick.

Tomorrow I head to Madison Wisconsin.

Then stay around for a couple of days, before my wedding and honeymoon.

As Seattle was approaching 90s, Vickie and I fled to Ohio where we could expect the 60s and rain we were accustomed to. Surprisingly, the 50% chance of rain failed, so we were forced to tolerate low 70s with a pleasant mix of clouds and sun for the weekend ( Read more... )

On Friday, work paid me to snowboard and otherwise improve my morale. It worked.

Apparently, Dallas and other parts of Texas have been hammered by severe weather. My flight from Seattle to Dallas (then DFW -> IAH) was delayed to the limit of the layover in Dallas (3 hours), and rumors were rife that it would be delayed further.
