To sum my weekend:
- Flying redeye, taking 28X, and facing rain on Friday
+ Catching up with V
+ Meeting her two puppies (Peanut 9mo & ~8lbs, Wasabi 6mo & 2lbs)
+ Catching up with Mark
+ Dancing some east-coast that night
+ Meeting Tomczak and Andy for Zaws on Saturday
- Only to learn that CTFwS was Friday
+ Watching the weather change to Spring sunshine
+ Learning Lindy Hop
+ Learning so much that my head hurt (never before has this happened)
+ Going to dinner with V, et al including the instructors who were amused / intrigued to watch me write up notes about all of the steps on the place mat
- Not particularly liking the eggplant dish they ordered, but
+ The rest of dinner was good
+ Dancing more east-coast and lindy that night
+ And a signed CD of the Boilermakers
+ More games of smash brothers and conversation before sleeping
+ Eating pancakes at Pamela's
+ Going on a walk with the puppies
+ Going to church and being moved to tears while singing the Psalms (esp 98A)
+ Another walk with the puppies in more Spring sunshine (~70s)
- Not liking bubble tea, but I tried it
- Great Steak & Potato had closed in PIT, which I wanted for lunch
+ Met with family during layover in CVG
+ Then discovered that Great Steak & Potato was open in CVG, so I had it for dinner
+ Was voluntarily bumped off of evening flight to SEA, therefore Delta's reimbursement paid for my trip
+ Played TtR and 4 person solitaire with my family
- Thanks to 80 degree weather, found it difficult to fall asleep
+ Had beautiful weather for flight to SEA
+ Free breakfast and lunch thanks to the meal vouchers
