I got gas last night after run club. I reset the trip odometer on my car each time I get gas, so I can get a rough idea of the mileage I'm getting per tank.

Since that time I have travelled:

• To scottphyrebird's place to hang out, and back again;
• To work, and home again;

• To the Silver City to see 300 on IMAX;

A guy can't ask a girl, even one he's friends with, out for an innocent cup of coffee. She'll automatically assume he wants, not a cup of coffee with a friend, but to date her.

Either that or I come across as desperate.

Work has been wearing me down lately. We're finally working toward a real product, instead of demo after demo after demo. That means we have a real product design, and a real release schedule, for the first time in two years. We've even got a QA person to test our software to find the most obvious problems with it. I dropped my Wacom stylus on the desk a little while ago. I picked it up again to discover the side buttons were no longer in place. One piece, light and plastic, they could be anywhere in the apartment by now. I've searched all around my desk, and even gone through my garbage, and can't find any sign of them anywhere. Over a year ago, at an EWB garage sale, I got a cheap Wacom Graphire (not a 2 or a 3, the original) for $5. It came with the mouse, but no stylus. I finally got around to trying to get a stylus, and with petie_s' help, I found a Canadian reseller of Wacom parts.
