A guy can't ask a girl, even one he's friends with, out for an innocent cup of coffee. She'll automatically assume he wants, not a cup of coffee with a friend, but to date her.

Either that or I come across as desperate.

Work has been wearing me down lately. We're finally working toward a real product, instead of demo after demo after demo.
