The bandage is off.

The wound is still pretty raw, and awfully ugly-looking after spending over a month under a bandage.

And we're supposed to keep her from licking at it.

Hello? She's a CAT! They lick at things that that are irritating/dirty!

We got home from getting Gabs' bandage changed (maybe for the last time, woo hoo!--we'll find out on Sunday) and I left the front door open (with the security screen latched) because it is a lovely sunny day ( Read more... )

So the weather finally turned--it's raining pretty hard. And we have a small horde of ants on our front porch, carrying around eggs and going "OH CRAP, where can we go that's dry?"

I sprayed them liberally with Simple Green.
