The weather is truly wacky this winter and today it's a balmy 50°F. Yesterday was nearly as warm if not precisely pleasant and I wasn't painfully cold for a change like I have been much of this winter so far regardless of the thermostat setting. We're paying for it with rain and a lot of high winds, which doesn't make getting packages to the post ( Read more... )

I have discovered that in regards to recs (that is, the "rec notes" section), I may actually be more comfortable writing them for art than fic. It's not difficult to figure out why: I need distance and processing time to see an entire picture in order to summarize it in a coherent way or to pull out an element that was of particular interest.
