4 day weekends are the way forward! Though they do cause me to forget how to wear shoes with heels…

It was a lovely long weekend, though I’m glad I took Tuesday off as well, because in the usual manner of bank holidays in this country, the best weather was the day most people went back to work.

Well it has been a nice day today. Considering its not supposed to be spring yet, it was a lovely bright day, not really cold. The crocus flowers and daffodils have started to flower early, and all the purples and yellows look very pretty so I hope that there are no ground frosts in the coming weeks or they will be wrecked ( Read more... )

Yesterday was nice. Alan and I got up really early to get the food shopping done and out of the way, which left us an entire day to fill.

I think i could get used to this 'half-day' malarkey at work. It gets me up early which wakes up my head, but then i am free to enjoy the benefits of that however i please in the afternoon! Gah! 22 sides of my tiny fiddly handwriting to type up! The relief of having practically finished (still not happy with the conclusion) the writing of yet another essay is marred by this dreary but mandatory task.
