Had a great weekend at Fan Expo here in Toronto. Got to see panels with Jamie Bamber (so sweet and lovely), Jon Bernthal and Norman Reedus (both hilarious and awesome), and my absolute favourite person of the weekend: John Barrowman. Had a wonderful long weekend with bliss_. We went to Fan Expo, aka Toronto Comic-Con. Much fun and fangirl geekiness was had. The con has gotten bigger and better in the last few years, and there was a very tempting array of merch to spend our money on.

After the steaming pile of shit that was the BSG finale, I didn't think anything could make me less interested in Caprica. I stand corrected! Ugh. I loved Marsters as Spike back in the day (pre-Angel), but I've read too many moronic interviews with him now, and he's just so...ick. Can't stand him ( Read more... )

I watched the BSG finale. I kind of (pretty much) hated it. Season 4.5 has been a huge disappointment. You're always concerned whether a show will stick the landing, but this one fell off the balance beam halfway through the routine.

It's been unbearably cold (-30 with the wind chill) the last few days, and today the temp is up to -20 with the wind, but it's going to snow 10 cm.
