bliss_ and I went to the ballet on Saturday and saw a double bill: Skin Divers and the North American premiere of a new Carmen. Skin Divers was a bit too pretentious with the reading of Anne Michael's poetry and screens with naked bodies projected, but the dancers were excellent. I had an awesome weekend. bliss_ came to visit for her birthday, and on a complete whim, mcfeste flew out on a Friday night red eye to surprise her. It was fabulous. We went to see the Saturday and Sunday matinees of Spring Awakening and Amy came to the theatre on Saturday from the airport and shocked the hell out of Bliss. *g ( Read more... )

It's been unbearably cold (-30 with the wind chill) the last few days, and today the temp is up to -20 with the wind, but it's going to snow 10 cm. bliss_ and I had a fab weekend in NYC (our "date weekend," heh) and kept very busy seeing Broadway shows. We did get to see susanderavish, nutmeg3, queenofthorns and jaydk, which was lovely, of course. SDV, we look forward to eating at "Male Name's Burritos" again next time!
