One of the more enjoyable war's I've attended. Particularly since I got to bring home an apprentice. kargashina and I made it official. The event was lovely. All the stress of the prep beforehand paid off. The food was all very well received. Lots of cooking serving and dishwashing happened, but enough hands pitched in that it wasn't painful. I ended up going home for lunch today & grabbed the mail. The new TI had arrived. As I was flipping through it, I glanced at their wish list of articles. Anglo-Saxon garb was on it. I love my husband!  We now have a closet rod in the big basement closet and the curtain rod is attached to the wall instead of merely associated with it.  And all my boxes of fabric are moved into the closet so I can organize all my sewing supplies.  I predict that I will be jettisoning a fair amount of fabric soon.  And maybe finishing a couple of ( Read more... )
