I got up with the pager at about 5 AM dealt with the problem & went back to bed. Got up at 9 AM & called in sick. Finally got up for real a little before 12. Still sick, but I definitely needed th sleep. Spent the day scanning ILL materials on nalbinding. I had a lovely time at the sauna last night. I woke up disgustingly early & got into work around thie time I'm probably ought to get there as opposed to the time I usually roll in.

I took a picture of this year's pumpkins. Travis & I carved them on Sunday & he put them together yesterday while I was at the sauna.

I love my husband!  We now have a closet rod in the big basement closet and the curtain rod is attached to the wall instead of merely associated with it.  And all my boxes of fabric are moved into the closet so I can organize all my sewing supplies.  I predict that I will be jettisoning a fair amount of fabric soon.  And maybe finishing a couple of ( Read more... )

Feeling pretty peaceful & productive. The week off was a pretty good one. We stayed at Sequim Bay park up in Washington. The weather was beautiful. I've discovered Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.  I blame loree!  I unpacked my new imps yesterday. (tiny sample vials of perfume.)  I've started out just sniffing them in the bottle.  Today I tried out Les Infortunes De La Vertu to see how it smelled ON ME.  Apparently these are perfumes that change quite a bit as they react with your body chemistry.  There ( Read more... )
