Well after a crazy, wonderful, not-sleep-filled weekend at Orycon, the cold bug has finally wrestled me to the ground. Fortunately I'm working from home today, so it's been pretty easy to coddle myself. As much as I can while I'm on call.
I had a lovely lunch with Anthony who was very sweet about exploding cupboards and scary milk. I need to let Travis know he has another vic ... player for Game of Thrones.
Vlad, who hid the whole time Anthony was here, has been bouncing around and howling at me so I don't feel lonely. He is now curled up NEXT to the cat bed. Wierdo.
I also got my Ravelry invite today, which was nice to discover after the pager got me up at 5:30 AM. I'll be off soon to get new knitting needles since the Jayne hat I started at the con is turning out to look like it would fit one of my nephews. It was supposed to be for Travis. Nyquil and a new set of Addi Turbos, what a shopping list.
I may make Travis do the cooking for Thanksgiving tomorrow so I don't get my germs all over everything. I should probably stay home, but I REALLY don't want to.
