I feel klutzy and foolish right now. We were playing with our beagle a little while ago to tire her out for bed. Mom had a hold of her so one of us could run and then Sydney, our beagle, would go chase that person. So I ran ad Mom released Syd. Okay, so I call PE Pure Hell. I am not athletic in one iota of my being, so I sucked at most of the stuff we did. One thing we did that I hated wasn't really a game, but something called The Pacer. So I was standing just outside the laundry room this afternoon with my hands above my head on the door frame. Mom went to poke me and so I backed up and almost stepped on the dog. I grabbed onto the bathroom door frame and laundry room door frame to keep from falling or stepping on her. Mom came out of the laundry room and went to close the door. ( Read more... )

I'm starting to notice that I am much less squeamish that my sister, or even my mom. I just picked up a slug (with paper towels, but still) from our dining room because Meg needed to vacuum and couldn't do it herself.
