The day before yesterday, Serenity began pulling herself up AND sitting herself down carefully using the furniture in the living room. Her face displayed a lot of self- satisfaction when she finally achieved her goal.

Yesterday we went to brgk44's house to celebrate her oldest's birthday. We really enjoyed meeting her homeschooling friends. Mostly, we enjoyed seeing her and her family. The boys get along so well together. It is nice to have such good friends so close (relatively speaking).

Yesterday while I was straightening Julian's room and getting rid of recyclables (paper that was too wrinkled or ripped to be used) I found a set of papers where he had written the entire alphabet, one to three letters at a time. J spent the night with a friend of the family last night, actually with the woman who watches him for me while i am in school or at work. She is fabulous!!!! She has five boys of her own, one of them near J's age. He really seems to enjoy spending time with them.
