Growing
The day before yesterday, Serenity began pulling herself up AND sitting herself down carefully using the furniture in the living room. Her face displayed a lot of self- satisfaction when she finally achieved her goal.
She now has hair long enough to show just a bit of a curl over her ears. Too cute!
On Friday we went to a friend's house in the neighborhood to give our photographer, Leslie Grubb, some advertising materials I had created for her back in early January.
It was so nice to see our friend and our photographer again.
My friend also has a baby girl, born about a month after Serenity. The baby's name is Grace.
Leslie allowed Julian to help her set up her photography equiptment at our mutual friend's house. To cut back on the confusionher, I will let you know that our friend's name is Charla. Charla and Leslie went to high school together.
Charla and I met at the Toyota dealership down the road while we were both pregnant. We stated in touch throughout our pregnancies and she invited me to take pictures with her at her house near the end of our pregnancies. That was when she introduced me to Leslie.
They are both very sweet, and Leslie is quite talented!
Julian is still learning to read. He is a delightful and sweet big brother. Yesterday he played ball with Serenity for the first time. They sat on the floor together and rolled the ball back and forth. He was very patient with Serenity when she picked the ball up and started to crawl off with it. I love my kids!!!
