Yesterday afternoon we took the girls to free public skating from 5-6:30. Hockey is Law around here and public skating happens only when there isn't a hockey game or practice, so the hours are often inconvenient. We picked up Chinese food on the way home and then settled in to watch a movie once the girls were in bed.

We skipped church today and Julia was very disappointed.  Unfortunately, her experience of church is playing in the nursery and playing tag downstairs with her friends and I was not prepared to get us there just for that.

I made fruit smoothies for all of us this morning and ate mine with a peanut butter bagel - oh YUM!  After lunch I took the girls ( Read more... )
