The 80th birthday dinner was a very pleasant evening. Our ushering system wasn't the most efficient and we grossly under/over estimated the drink requirements, but everything else ran smoothly. We're celebrating my Por Por's 80th birthday this Sunday with a rather big soiree. The grandchildren will be on drinks duty (haven't decided if this is a good idea or not) and it will be the first time my cousins and I will be all together for the first time in about a decade I think. So...I've agreed to play guitar for the play I mentioned a few days ago. it's an MTA (Master of Theatre arts) student's final project and will be performed at Victoria University's Studio 77 next month.
