Just got an email from Scarborough Fair. Tickets are now on sale for next season. Friends of Fair will be $125 if you get them before March 5 (I think). They will be $135 at the gate. I thought they didn't sell FoF passes at the gate.... Maybe I'll ask for one for my birthday.

Oh man, I ate way too much at the Team lunch today. *groan*

The TRF trip has been canceled. The cold front is supposed to hit Houston Friday night and the temps on Saturday are (as of this morning) only supposed to reach mid-60s. Teh Momster does not like the cold, so she would be miserable. We decided it would be better to not go. Ah, well. I wasn't feeling all that enthusiastic about it.

I am not at all excited about TRF this year. If it were happening in the Metroplex, I might go for one day. But to spend all the time and money on a trip down to Houston...not interested. Plus, I really can't afford it right now ( Read more... )

Oh my.

Yesterday they were saying the high on Saturday would be in the mid 50's--good weather for fair.

Today they're saying it will be in the mid 40's. Teh Momster may not want to go if it's really that cold. I will still be there, though, regardless of temperature.

I was looking ahead and Pirate Invasion is in a couple of weeks. Maurie (or Kibyuanae as I am trying to beat into the heads of everyone--including me) all but promised Exeter that the Silver Corsair herself would be making an appearance that weekend. I went to fair Sunday. I met J-san and his parents out there, just for some hanging-out fun. I came home with a new bow and arrows. *facepalm* I blame J-san.
