The weekend overall was ok. Weather made it easier to stay home, which I was ok with given that the next two weekends we'll likely be out of town. Some quiet time at home was nice.

Nat handed me a DVD that a few hours prior had rendered her in tears (to be fair, she is probably blogging about this as I type). It was one of the Parelli DVD's that she gets monthly. In it contained a video of Pat Parelli working with a young woman that is a paraplegic. I can't provide a description that would do justice to what I witnessed. ( Read more... )

Our horses are sick right now, so it may be a while before they go anywhere on it, but this is pretty exciting nonetheless.

We had really hoped to wait a year on this decision, but unfortunately my 300m decided it was time to be put to pasture. Then came the debate about what to buy. Do we go ahead and do what we had planned to do down the road and get a truck and trailer to tow our horses? Or do we just get a sedan that gets good mileage and get the truck later ( Read more... )
