Okay, so I got through the culture shock of having my mother on Facebook (she took to it like a cat to couches,) and then my siblings (which wasn't nearly so odd,) and the whole having half my contacts being extended family members.

Last weekend was Fanime, which was a gigantic letdown, really. Waited in line for two hours on Thursday, and that was the pre-reg badge pickup. I have never, ever seen it that crazy. On the 10th of October, one of my innumerable female cousins got married (I suppose there's only... um... seven of us? But it seems like a lot!) and the ceremony was held at Granny and Granddad's, out on a hillside in the sun. It was the last sunny Sunday in October.
