Well, school is back in full swing. Both of the kids seem to really be enjoying school this year. Middle school has been a big transition for G, but for the most part he's doing great. 3rd grade isn't that big of a deal for Ash since she pretty much does the same things as years past ( Read more... ) -

Well, we're home from vacation. We had a great time and great weather. I love going on vacation, but it always feels good to come home. We had a great time hanging out at the campgrounds and playing games. G had to run for the week for football conditioning so Tyler decided to run with him as did I. It'sa very sad day at my home!!!
Today we had our dog put down because of kidney failure. I know everyone thinks it's just a dog, but he was like a family member. He's been with me for 12 years and he was like our first baby. So yeah, the whole High Speed Internet thing I was bragging about, well, we've been having a few problems with it. Seems that it may be our computer and that there may be no cheap fix to it. Wow I can't believe I'm posting so soon!
We had a great 4th of July celebration. Everyone came to our house since we have the pool and it sure did get used. The kids got sunburned and I felt like a bad mom!! Well, we had a great time while my mom was here and I was sad to see her go. G's birthday was great and he got pretty much everything he wanted minus an iPOD that the mean mom said no to. Stuff
Well let's see, since I last posted, we took our trip to Frankenmuth. We had a great time other than the weather was cold and snowy. We stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge so the kids enjoyed swimming and playing arcade games. It was a nice getaway. .....things we've been up to. Well, since I've posted last, basketball season has ended and G's team finished 2nd in his age group. They lost by 1 point in the final game. Ash just played for learning and fun but, of course telling her that didn't go over well. Now we're just getting ready to get chickens and more rabbits for 4-H. I'm excited about ( Read more... )
