Stuff
Well let's see, since I last posted, we took our trip to Frankenmuth. We had a great time other than the weather was cold and snowy. We stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge so the kids enjoyed swimming and playing arcade games. It was a nice getaway. We relaxed and I didn't have to cook or do house work which is always a plus.
Last weekend(April21-22)we went to Troy for ASh's dance competition. We had a good time. Her competiton was held at the Somerset Inn which is right across from the Somerset Collection Mall. I so wanted to go shopping, but with time being a factor, I had to give up that want. It was ok though, because she had a great time at the competition and did a great job. Her team took 1st in their category, but they were the only ones in the category so we were kind of bummed because there was no cometition. So after awards at 12:15 we went to get sometihng to eat adn head for home. We thought we were done for the day and that there weren't anymore awards. Well, about 10:30 I got a call from another mom. She said that our dance took 1st place over the whole show for Beginning dances. Which means our 6-9 year olds beat every other dance in the beginning level from 3-17 years old. We were so very excited!!! This award wasn't given until the whole competition was over and all of our team had gone home. Their teacher was there and couldn't believe her ears when she heard them announce it. She was so proud of the girls!! So all in all we did have competiton and we did come out on top!! Way to go "Sister Act"!!!
My mom and step dad are all moved to Georgia. She now thinks it is the craziest thing she has ever done and I think she may be right!!! She tells me everyday how much she misses the kids and I think may be a little jealous of the other grandparents because they see them all the time. I guess this has been her choice, so she'll have to deal with it. Holoiday's should be interesting. She thinks my siblings and I are coming down there for holiday's. She better think again. She's coming home in May for mine and G's birthdays and Ash's dance recital. She would be here everyday if she could. I can't feel sorry for her, she made this choice. We're all taking bets on how long we think they will stay there.
