The last four or five days have been fairly hardcore around here. The girls have not been sleeping much - stupid hot sticky British summer weather- which means Jake and I have not been sleeping much. I've been awake for So Long. Orlaith was very restless last night so I went in to her about twenty past 1 and dozed on her bed until about 4am. Groucho is not letting me get a great deal of sleep at the moment. At 5 1/2 months pregnant I can't get comfy in bed no matter how I wriggle. I don't have enough pillows to let me sleep on my back (Can cause crimping of the cord, thus preventing Groucho getting nutrients and stuff), I can't sleep properly on my side because my hips and my shoulders ( Read more... )

It is lovely and rainy and the sky is that beautiful luminous pre-dawn grey.
