It is an utterly glorious day in London.
Outside my window I can see blue sky and the most beautiful blossom tree across the street. Like a big pink cloud. Those kind of trees are spread out all down our road and a lot of the side streets and once they blossom the walk down the road is just so lovely.

It's been a busy week in the Leavesley household. The usual kind of malarkey's going on as ever, nappies, preschool run, more nappies, extricating children from chairs, under desks, various small spaces they get wedged in, that general kind of thing. I am very excited. A while back Suz (colorwhirl ) did this amazing charity destash exercise, where she listed a bunch fo stuff she wanted to get rid of, we all put in bids and gave money to charities she liked, and in return there was an amazing parcel of yarn that we could feel really good about having.

The last four or five days have been fairly hardcore around here. The girls have not been sleeping much - stupid hot sticky British summer weather- which means Jake and I have not been sleeping much. Alex is coming over to hang out and make vegan cupcakes. The garden men are here smashing stuff up out the front. Dave rang and is also popping around later to eat the cupcakes. It's all go today.

Orlaith seems to be cutting more teeth. At least, I am assuming that is why she whimpered and kicked and punched me all night long. It's very very hot again.

bollocks.

It did rain last night though, so hopefully my seedlings won't be deaded.
The raddishes and lettuces were looking particularly good when I came home on Saturday and my parsley plants have sprouted all over the place! Fantastico.
