Sooo, I had my first sewing lesson today. It was exhausting!
We took one of the patterns from Weekend Sewing , a kimono style wrap dress and have completely re drafted it to actually fit my size. I was a little confused by some of what we were doing. Esme continues to occasionally totter about the lounge room. Mostly when she thinks no one is watching. Then she looks very confused/pleased with herself and sinks to the floor. Long weekend has been full of plants, trips to the DIY shop, grumbling, Red Dwarf, sunshine, rain, re-potting, sewing, washing up and generally relaxing.
I'm currently sitting at the computer watching a semi-naked three year old cavort around the back garden with her Daddy while Esme naps across my lap.

Alex and I had an excellent day yesterday. We popped along to Cafe Stitch. It was my second time going and Alex's first and we had a fab time.You really couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of knitters.
