1. The roasted chicken was fantastic. I rubbed it with salt and pepper and thyme, then piled potatoes and onion and carrots and celery around it. I baked it at 375 for 20 minutes, then 400 for another 35 or so. I took the cats to the vet on Friday, shelled out a hundred bucks for the visit and the meds. So they've each had three doses of antibiotics. Yesterday I finally figured out that if I hold the scruff of their neck, it's much much easier. I don't know if it's my (and Nate's) optimism or if they're actually getting better. I changed my filter in my air conditioner. It's been at least a year since it's been changed, I think. Nearly that, at least, as I've not changed it since I moved in.
