Car stuff complete! Turns out Georgia doesn't require a safety inspection to license the car. We got our temporary driver's licenses, so we're officially residents of Georgia, and then we got our tag. I was really nervous about the emissions testing portion of the car licensing process, mostly because I don't know how strict the rules are and how you can fail or anything. But only the gas cap failed, and that was an easy fix. And something I could fix. So yay!

Now the normal inspection and the paperwork portion. Friday. Yay.

Although my employer didn't close the office the two days that the weather and roads were the worst, I found out today (after being gone all last week) that they really bent over backward to let people make up those days on Saturday and Sunday.
