I read Superman: Red Son (Elseworlds) by Mark Millar and, God help me, I loved it.

A writer who has made comments indicating rape is funny.
A writer who includes rape as a plot device in nearly everything he writes with what I find to be a disturbing frequency.

I just finished watching Speak on Lifetime, the made for tv movie adaptation of the young adult novel of the same name. I've seen this movie probably three times on Lifetime, never all at once though. I know words like "Lifetime" and "made for tv movie" generally spell cheesy and poorly acted but Speak is so good.
