I didn't manage to finish my fic for the Crossover Big Bang deadline, which, as work has been a bit crap recently and I've not been feeling my best, doesn't really surprise me. Don't listen to all the people who tell you there are too many special effects and big explosions for it to be proper Trek. It is proper Trek, with bells on. I loved it, and would like to see it again. This icon seems even more appropriate after this film...

The Radio adaptation of Neverwhere starts today and 14:30. I think you can listen if you aren't in the UK and with the cast that this has, I would recommend it... Benedict Cumberbatch, Christopher Lee AND Tony Head all in one production? That is some talent!

I was pleased that Pluto retained planetary status and now there are another two moons to be named. Astronomers have decided that the public should help (within Astronomy conventions, so no Spike and Buffy, Sherlock and John or Kirk and Spock, for moons P4 and P5).

You may or may not know that I absolutely adore the book The Eagle of the Ninth by Rosemary Sutcliffe and have done since I read it for English in school. I'm now on my 3rd or 4th copy of it.
