Help Astronomers Name Pluto’s Tiniest Moons!
I was pleased that Pluto retained planetary status and now there are another two moons to be named. Astronomers have decided that the public should help (within Astronomy conventions, so no Spike and Buffy, Sherlock and John or Kirk and Spock, for moons P4 and P5).
The article that goes into the thoughts behind this idea is here with the more important poll of names being at Pluto Rocks. My current favourite names are Lethe and Hypnos, as although I love Persephone, Orpheus, Eurydice and Cerberus I feel that Lethe should be remembered more and you can't get a much more permanent reminder than a moon!
And if anyone is wondering why I tagged this 'Denial' it's because the River Denial is a tributary of the River Lethe. The Clan said so, way back when...
