Today Carl and I went to our favourite Indian restaurant and, to our surprise, the waitress was working tonight. If you recall she had a seizure in front of us, and this is when we were told that she was having surgery to treat the part of the brain that was causing her seizures -- she's very lucky in this case, as for many people this simply isn't ( Read more... )

I suppose it's nice to not do anything, for a change, as that's just I've done in my three days off for the Fourth of July. Carl ended up having to work last night and tonight (I'm sure there was more than enough people in Peoria country that'd managed to blow their appendages off!), so there were no fireworks or outings for either of us.
