Happy Xanukah, everyone. it was wonderful getting to spend it with
Carl -- our first holiday living together.
Carl wanted to have a tree this year. It's not all that big, but it's nicer looking than some of the ones we saw on sale at some stores we looked at ...
Carl cooked a nice meal -- turkey, stuffing ... we were supposed to have a guest over but that turned out not to be the case. Oh well, it means leftovers for us. ^o^
... and he also bought me a crème brûlée set as a gift. Of course he says that he's the only one that gets to use the torch. "I don't need to come home to firefighters," he quipped. Love you too, bitch. ^^;;;;
We now have a tabletop grill thing too that uses chafing fuel (which was fun to find in the store when the people in said store had NO IDEA what I was talking about!). I finally got some and was highly amused by the "flammable" warning on the side of the can. Well damn, I'm glad they told me! God forbid I actually try to burn the shit!
