I can get my jeep out.   may drive it to work later this week so I can gas him up.  Maybe contact the carwash guys at work and get it tricked out.

The roof is done.  They finished around 7:30pm last night.  Well, That's when I went outside and there wasn't anyone or anything around to be seen.  Poof!  they were gone ( Read more... )

I thought about it and I don't think list work tonite will be the best thing to do.  I think those roofers will be at the house till sundown (7:00pm).  The dogs and I will have to deal with the noise & commotion.  I think once everyone is fed and settled... we'll head downstairs and work on the office.  I do need to do some work down there and it ( Read more... )

As you can see in the previous post, I was able to get most of the stuff done.  The pictures... I ran out of daylight.  And the money transfer, I'll do today.  I was able to clean the back yard and Talk to my Grandma which the most important thing I did all day.  You know she's 98 and a half years old,  She will always add the "And a Half" when you ( Read more... )

I started my day with a couple cups of freshly brewed French Pressed Coffee.  Then I headed down to My Favorite Place to do some Junkin' with Roxanne.  I'll take a picture of the lamps she made me buy tomorrow.  She bought a butt load of stuff and everything (but the lamps) I wanted was already sold.  But I had a blast there... I paid bills last night.  Not a happy day.  I had to move a chunk from savings to checking.  Not to pay the bills, but to make me feel less stressed.  Good thing is next month is a 3 payday month.

things should get back to normal.

I got the first estimate today for the roof.  It was around $4900.  Not bad only about $100 more than the insurance ( Read more... )

The Insurance guy and the roofer guy are supposed to get on my roof and do what they have to do.  As long as no one falls I don't care what they do.  Hopefully I will get a new roof and and It wouln't cost me anything but dog boarding for 2 days...  I called the insurance company and started the process of having my roof inspected.  We'll see what comes of it.  I have a $1670 deductable.  So hopefully that will be the max I will have to shell out.  Knowing me, it won't be.
