Today's Festivities...
I started my day with a couple cups of freshly brewed French Pressed Coffee. Then I headed down to My Favorite Place to do some Junkin' with Roxanne. I'll take a picture of the lamps she made me buy tomorrow. She bought a butt load of stuff and everything (but the lamps) I wanted was already sold. But I had a blast there... I always do. Afterwards we went to Moe's for lunch and I am still full. We fixed her toilet, figured out some security issues, played with Sam the Wonder Cat, tried to fix the chest/coffee table (tightened some screws on it) and played with Sam some more.
Now all the way down to the Perimeter I kept my eyes open to see if I could see a gas station that had some gas. Found a few but they were empty on my way back home. I called Krazy Kay to see if there was any up here and she said no (not true then, but it is now). Here is the real kicker... she said the roofer guy was at her house and I should hurry home to meet with him before he left. So I did. And I did meet with him.
I am getting my roof done in a couple of weeks. He accepted my insurance estimate as the estimate and because I am oging to pay my deductible and not try to manipulate the bottom line, I get all the upgrades. 30 year shingles, ridge line vint system and upgraded labor warranty. They are a canton based company. Been in business for 2 years. And have excellant references.
Hey that works for me. I didn't have to play all the games. And things are taken care of. Think about it. I'm getting a 30 year roof for $1670. I was going ot have to replace this roof in the next 3-5 years and that would have been $5000 out of my pocket.
