I didn't get completed as I had hoped this weekend.  My problem... Painting.  I hate Painting.  I did however get 2 of the 4 bookshelves installed and the other 2 painted.  One of the units is ready to install.  The other, almost.  It needs to be taken apart enough to remove 6.5 inches of width - reassembled - final coat of paint put on and then it ( Read more... )

I got the 4 book shelves built. And on Saturday after my running... I started to paint them. All I can say is I am the worst painter. I had more paint on my shirt than I did on the shelves. I did get 2 done before I went to bed. I hope to get the rest done tomorrow and start hanging them. I actually found 5 of the original 13 L - brackets ( Read more... )

I built some add on shelves to a book case.  I don't want to pull the bookcases from upstairs.... I'll need them for the library / guest / sitting room.  I started moving the movies back downstairs and I realized (I knew it was going to happen) that there was not enough shelf space for all of them.  So I have been trying to think of solutions.  And ( Read more... )

So I get home Friday night to find a load of wood stacked up on my driveway up by the garage door.  I get the dogs loaded up in the downstairs gym / office to keep them from freakin' out  and I start moving the load of wood.  I pick up the first 5 sticks/logs and I feel a pain in my back I have never felt before.  Like someone was jumping on a ( Read more... )

I already started my weekend planning.  There are a couple of things that have to be done and the rest will be just me getting carried away by the momentum.

I need to install the screen / storm / pet door on the new downstairs door.  Not that I will be leaving the dogs down there during the winter... It's way too cold.  and the cold wreaks havoc on ( Read more... )

The Dumpster is GONE!!!!

I can get my jeep out.   may drive it to work later this week so I can gas him up.  Maybe contact the carwash guys at work and get it tricked out.
