Just got back from seeing On the Town at Mary Moody Northen Theatre--it was great! If you live in the Austin area, I highly recommend that you go see it! Singing, dancing, cool costumes, and some pretty impressive acting!

So Gunnar and I just got back from seeing a play, "Jack and the King," which was written by a friend of ours here at SEU. It was a delightful good time--funny, intelligent, and cozy. Most of the actors were also SEU students and friends, and we also knew pretty much every other person in the audience, including another RA and my poetry professor! ( Read more... )

So far I'm having a pretty chill semester. I really like my classes and my schedules, and since this is my last semester as an RA I think I'm learning not to stress it as much and just roll. I enjoyed my weekend at RA conference in Arkansas, particularly getting to know my co-workers, hearing all sorts of funny RA stories from years past and present, being a grammar nerd, and the farm. This is a cool article about lunar exploration. Japan just sent up a lunar probe too! I think it's really cool.

So I was chatting with Amanda, and one of her residents asked each of us which part of the hall we "reigned" over respectively, which led to a discussion of us East RAs as royalty, namely, princess.
