I know the hockey feeling. For us it tends to be that we lead Sweden for who knows how many, but then they wake up at the last minute and beat us anyway. Shit sucks.

Well, y'all are so great, you don't need to win, right? ;)

(Though for us, come to think of it, we've had this smackdown coming. Our ego gets too huge sometimes with regards to hockey... Maybe we needed to be taken down a notch.)

Haha I was just about to write about this hockey luck we have but fortunately read the comments first. So yeah, seconding.

About that moose thing, your brother surely was lucky. Never been to collision like that, but it has been close. Several times.

That poor moose! But seriously, it's good to hear your brother is okay.

As for comments - I'm generally late for everything on LJ, so recieving comments several days after I posted feels natural and fair. :D

It's such a relief that he'll be fine... and lucky, too, considering what usually happens when someone hits a moose (urgh...)

"Natural and fair" -- I like this philosophy \o/ I'll keep it in mind.
Come to think of it, it's strange how comments/entries/etc on LJ seem to have a shorter "shelf-life" than in other places. Other sites, it isn't uncommon for comments to appear several days after something is posted... but LJ, being even a day late is uncommon :Va I'm not sure why it is.

Yes, it's a bit surprising for me too. Comparing LJ with several other blogging sites I know I've noticed that in average people post less often here. So it'd make sense if comment logs lasted a long time (no distractions in form of multiple newer posts, etc.). But no.

The only thing I seem to be able to do right now is to late!reply.

Here's to hoping things brighten up soon! (At least there will always be new hockey games.)

There's nothing wrong with being late, especially if the tardy one is somebody wonderful. ;)

Maybe next week will be better! (Yay, optimism)

Then I think you answered your own question quite well. :)
/works hard on this recommended being wonderful thing so people won't get mad
/manages to be even later because of that
/...not as planned

I'm keeping my thumbs up for that!

I KNOW EH. Oh well, I'll get over it. ;;

Well yeah, but you've been busy, ~travelling around~ and everything. Right? So, there. o3ob
Usually I do have things to say, but I can't muster up the effort to comment. Buh. Oh, well. <3

I LOVE YOU ELLIE

(By the way, when you have your new address, you'll be sure to PM me with it, RIGHT?)

my brother's work vehicle had a collision with a moose

Only in Canada.

In any case, it seems like 2011 is sucking for a lot of people. My crackpot, tinhat theory is that the slowly increasing sense of misery is preparing us for the inevitable in 2012.

And yeah, I dunno what it is, but it seems like EVERYONE is having a terrible time. I wish it would stoooooop.
