Hello again.
Sooo... It's been a while. I got a promotion. Well, I'm getting paid more anyway. I'm a head cashier now. Not that I've done anything with any semblance to authority. Mostly I've just been made to feel like a total failure by another head cashier. Apparently she does this to everyone, though, and fuck if I'm gonna let her beat me. New computer! Eee!
I'm a little late in mentioning it, but Josh got me a brand new ASUS Eee PC netbook! Now I'm gonna have to have him start limiting my computer time like I'm 10 because I can't seem to get anything done with it around... It is much faster than either of my macs, though. Wedding Planning mayhem
Wedding planning is turning out to be WAY TOO COMPLICATED! It's really difficult to work a 200-person reception with an open bar into a $5000 budget. Avatar and Animal Drama
We went and saw Avatar last night. It was good... a little more violent than I thought was really necessary, but good. Kerachel, you were right, it is like Fern Gully for grown ups- almost dead on the story line, except that at the end a giant smog monster doesn't take the bad guys down, the good guys actually do it themselves.
