Sooo... It's been a while. I got a promotion. Well, I'm getting paid more anyway. I'm a head cashier now. Not that I've done anything with any semblance to authority. Mostly I've just been made to feel like a total failure by another head cashier. Apparently she does this to everyone, though, and fuck if I'm gonna let her beat me. I might get fired

Sweetie... it's not a victory for the so-called "normal" people because they've never had to struggle for their sanity. That you're keeping your head above water makes you so much stronger than the normal people, who just take their blissful floating through life for granted.
