We went and saw Avatar last night. It was good... a little more violent than I thought was really necessary, but good. Kerachel, you were right, it is like Fern Gully for grown ups- almost dead on the story line, except that at the end a giant smog monster doesn't take the bad guys down, the good guys actually do it themselves. Happy New Year to everyone. While I hate the idea of time as a continuum, I still choose to use the arbitrary start of the western "new year" as a time to start anew. My "resolutions" are as follows:
