Tomorrow morning at 7:15 I will be undergoing a procedure that will put a stent in me to relieve pressure on my kidney. Since this is surgery under general anesthetic, I need to be there an hour before the procedure is scheduled. Which means I'll be leaving my home at 5:45 am. I am unhappy about this ( Read more... )

Looks like another kidney stone.

I suppose I should say "feels like another kidney stone" as there are no outward appearing symptoms of kidney stones.

Anyway, I'm heading to the hospital.

Not sure how I'll get home, as I fully expect to be pumped full of the good drugs, but that is something I will deal with later.

At today's urology follow up, I was informed that it wasn't cola that was the problem, but dark beverages in general, including root beer.

I began to have pain in my right side earlier today. It slowly rose to about half the level of the pain I experienced in Orlando when I first had my kidney stone.
