Our psych instructor showed us twenty pictures of child abuse yesterday. Plus, A Clockwork Orange was discussed, so it was a two-in-one for stomach-turning subject matter.

Later, when I told a few people about this, there were some indulgent laughs and a suggestion that I stop being a wimp. Maybe that's true, but trigger. Trigger, trigger,

I overheard a professor criticize some digital prints from our featured gallery artist. He said they were too manipulated, but he's the same guy who digitized the breasts. Yes, the floor-to-ceiling breasts. And I don't think you have any right to comment on anyone else's work when you had boobs sized to scale a wall.

Am I wrong here?

I spend two days working on the PPT. I put together a veteran costume (since we all decided that yes, we're going to dress up for the presentation). Today was dress rehearsal for the pageant, which is tomorrow. (The pageants can be incredibly corny at times, but then again, all church plays are.) I've just come in from helping my mother at work. She's a hostess for weekend breakfasts at a local hotel, meaning she cooks your food, sets up the buffet, and hears the question, "What are grits?" about twenty times a day.
