This problem ain't big enough for the both of us.

Our psych instructor showed us twenty pictures of child abuse yesterday. Plus, A Clockwork Orange was discussed, so it was a two-in-one for stomach-turning subject matter.

Later, when I told a few people about this, there were some indulgent laughs and a suggestion that I stop being a wimp. Maybe that's true, but trigger. Trigger, trigger,

rl, rants

My god. Oh yes, people who talk about being wimps while speaking of child abuse and rape definitely should get themselves checked. If that doesn't affect you, then what can?

Right, because it is wimpish to be able to empathize with devastated people.

Not that the two don't go together; it is the same entitlement and dismissal of The Other in both instances.

Myself, I would be concerned in turn about people who would apply the term wimp to such distress. You are in a psych class, not a forensics class.

Oh, Katidid, that wasn't aimed at you. That was in fact aimed at the lady who sits next to me in class (Barbara?) , who is affected by nothing. It's irritating. She's all,"Oh, that's sad. Really." and I'm all, "Please shut up." Ugh. I wish I picked a different seat, but hey, you don't know these things until it's too late.

The wimp part, now that was you. :D Of course, I knew it was coming, and I know your love for Vincent makes you somewhat immune to ACO. ^___^

Look, I make fun of everyone so don't take it personally.

I say this in the most humorous way possible, but it sounds like you're talking to someone you don't care about.
