This Halloween, I made treat bags for everyone in the office! The bags included pumpkin cookies with cinnamon chips and a batch of Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow. (Mom threw in some candy that I didn't know we had. When questioned, she claimed it was for trick or treaters. Right. Like any kid has ever rang our creepy, end-of-the-street doorbell.)

Allow me show you the tree that was, sadly, dismantled yesterday. It feels like Florida is going through the five stages of grief.

1. Denial: "There's no leak, you guys!"
2. Anger: State-wide call for BP's head on a platter. (This stage is still in effect.)
3. Bargaining: ...with God in hopes that BP can pull a solution out of its posterior.
4. Depression: No tourism. No fishing. Oily sand. Affected wildlife.
