so i was reading a book of katie g's, called Prescription Nutrition yesterday AND low and behold, YOGURT (which i have missed dearly) is good for lactose intolerant folk. apparently the probriotics digest the lactose before your body has to, which nips out the problem. so this morning, i had amug of yogurt with agave nector...and it was like comin ( Read more... )

-  the girls (read: the dogs) have heartworms. they should be fine, since they're young, healthy, active, and don't show any outward signs (no coughing, nothing really), but i cried my face off at the vet's office when i found out. they had their first injection about a week ago, and have been taking steroids and an antibiotic to help them out.
