Thank you to all that offered your help, advice and kind words! I went and saw an insurance agent and in 15 minutes I had insurance! For all the fish, comics, collectors items, and various other fun things.

Apartments just dropped a bombshell on us. We have never had renters insurance because we could never afford it.

They just notified us that we have till August 31st to turn in "proof of insurance with minimum of $100,000 liability to cover any damage or injury caused by pet".

When I walk past an empty store, I don't feel sad at the loss of a business that failed, I feel excited for the potential of what will come next. Potential is a wonderful thing that makes me feel full of energy and curiosity.
